Blueberry, Kale & Fig Oasis Smoothie

This smoothie is my adapted version from the queen of superfood breakfasts herself, Ksenia, of Breakfast Criminals. If you want to start your day out giving yourself a huge hug on the inside, then try this delicious cup of nutrient-dense goodness that tastes way too good to be true.

INGREDIENTS

2 handfuls kale, stalk removed
½ cup fresh figs
½ cup frozen blueberries
1 banana, sliced and frozen
1 cup coconut or almond milk
1 tablespoon flax meal
1 tablespoon tahini
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Optional:
1 scoop vanilla plant-based protein

METHOD

Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Top with a drizzle of tahini and fresh fruit. Yum!
