Red Velvet Superfood Smoothie
A colorful and flavorful smoothie with all the flavors of your favorite cupcake. Filled with mood-boosting and energizing ingredients, this extra creamy creation will leave you happy & satisfied any time of day!
INGREDIENTS
Serves 1-2
1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)*
1 ripe banana, frozen & sliced
1½ cups frozen raspberries
2 tablespoons cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
¼ avocado
1 date, pitted (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
1-2 tablespoons hemp seeds or chocolate protein powder for added protein
OPTIONAL mood-boosting ingredients: maca, cacao nibs, or avocado
Toppings: fresh raspberries and cacao nibs/chocolate shavings

Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender until thick and creamy. Pour into a glass and top with berries & cacao nibs. Sip. Savor. Enjoy!
*NOTE: To turn this smoothie into a bowl, use 4-6 ounces of any plant-based milk
