Cherry Berry Beet Smoothie
With a handful of nutritious superstars all in one glass, this smoothie can’t be BEET! Cherries, berries, and beets combine to make a beautifully hued glass of natural energy that will keep you going all morning long.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 1
6-8 ounces of cashew or almond milk, or to desired consistency
1 cup spinach, loosely packed
¼ avocado
1 cup frozen cherries
½ cup raspberries or strawberries
1 small beet, peeled and roughly chopped*
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
Pinch of sea salt
Optional: 1 scoop protein powder
*For easier blending and a milder flavor, roast or boil the beet ahead of time.

METHOD
Add the nut milk and spinach to a high speed blender. Blend until smooth. Add in the remaining ingredients and blend into a thick and creamy consistency. Top with a sprinkling of shredded coconut, additional hemp seeds, or any other nutritional boosts.
