Matcha Latte

Who needs coffee when you can enjoy a matcha latte? This energizing and brain-boosting drink is made with young tea leaves that are filled with antioxidants and chlorophyll. It will give you a steady boost without the highs and lows you typically get with caffeine. The coconut butter adds amazing creaminess and a dose of healthy fats for maximum nutrient absorption in this satisfying cup of mind & body nourishment.

INGREDIENTS

1 teaspoon matcha tea
1/4 cup hot water
1 cup plant-based milk
Maple syrup (or sweetener of choice) to taste
2 teaspoons coconut butter
Pinch of Himalayan salt

CHOOSE ONE OR TWO OPTIONAL NUTRITIONAL BOOSTS:
2 teaspoons tocos (great for skin)
1 scoop collagen (joint and gut-healing)
½ teaspoon maca (energizing, hormone balancing)*
1 teaspoon mct oil (brain boosting!)
½ teaspoon cinnamon (blood sugar balancing)

METHOD

Add the matcha to the bottom of a small bowl or mug. Mix in the warm water and whisk until well-combined. In a small pot, gently warm the plant-based milk or any plant-based milk and add in sweetener of choice. Do not boil. Stir. Place the heated milk in a blender with the matcha mixture, coconut butter, and nutritional boosts. Blend until frothy. Pour into your favorite mug then sip, savor, and enjoy!
