Roasted Asparagus

1 bunch of asparagus
½-1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil (or enough to coat)
half of a lemon
Optional:
1-2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

METHOD
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Break off the bottom tough end of the asparagus. Combine asparagus, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss to coat. Spread the asparagus on the baking sheet in a single layer. If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle over the spears. Roast for 12-16 minutes, or until tender but still crisp. Turn only once during cooking time. Lightly squeeze lemon over the spears just before serving. Enjoy!
