Sesame Snow Peas

Aside from antibacterial properties, which could help protect against infection, snow peas compliment almost any meal. Serve this dish with Noah’s Asian Turkey Sliders for the perfect combination.

INGREDIENTS

Serves 4

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sesame oil
½ medium onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1-2 teaspoon fresh ginger root
3 cups snow peas, ends removed
2 tablespoons tamari
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

½ medium onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1-2 teaspoon fresh ginger root
3 cups snow peas, ends removed
2 tablespoons tamari
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

METHOD

Heat oils in skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, and ginger and sauté until soft. Stir in snow peas and cook for about 8 minutes or until tender. Add tamari and reduce heat to medium-low. Let simmer for about one minute. Finish by sprinkling with sesame seeds.
