Vanilla Spiced Hemp Milk
Making homemade plant-based milk from scratch is both easy and cost effective. And hemp seeds do not even require any soaking, so it’s simple to whip a batch in just a matter of minutes. INGREDIENTS
Makes 3 cups
1 cup hemp seeds (no soaking required!)
3 cups filtered water
2-3 dates, pitted (or sweetener of choice)
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of cardamom
Pinch of sea salt
Optional Add-Ins:
Ashwaghanda (for stress reduction)
1 tablespoon ginger, freshly grated
1 tablespoon turmeric, freshly grated (1 teaspoon dried)

METHOD
Blend all ingredients for 30 to 60 seconds until well-combined. Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag. Add extra spice or sweetener to taste. Store in mason jars in the refrigerator until ready to use. Serve the milk cold or heat desired amount in a pot. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon! Use within 3 days.
